Te Kura O Waima

 Tupu Teina & Tuakana

Students are directly involved and invested in the discovery of their own knowledge. They are encouraged to share their thinking. No question is a silly question. We celebrate children's contributions in class.

Tables are arranged so that it's easy for students to collaborate on projects or activities.

The teacher becomes a participant and co-learner in discussion, asking questions and perhaps correcting misconceptions, but not telling learners what they need to know.

Digital technologies have changed how teachers and students approach learning. Knowledge is no longer constrained by the physical boundaries of the traditional classroom.

Curriculum Integration is based on our Local Curriculum. We work collaboratively in a shared classroom with the children.
